| feeding: Vampires feed off either of these things: humans, animals or blood bags they can receive from the hospital. Feeding off humans is illegal unless you get permission from the person you want to feed on. Feeding on humans can get you exiled from your respective coven or even killed. energy: Vampires must conserve their energy every night if they want to be in the sunlight. Sunlight does not kill vampires, but it drains their energy. if they have not consumed blood or conserved their beforehand, they can pass out or go on a frenzy. frenzies: Frenzies are not common, but can happen. If a vampire hasn't drank blood for a straight week, they are prone to killing and hurting people. aging: if a vampire is born as a vampire, they go through a rapid growth spurt. Vampires don't age any further than an Adult. If a human is bitten by a vampire, they die & remain that age [the age they died] forever. vulnerability vampires for the most part and immune to many things, but can die by: being beheaded, stabbed with a stake or by sage. romantic relationships: vampires in romantic relationships with humans can either fail or last forever. the human partner can be turned once they are married or if they'd like, be turned at the age they want to stay forever or the age their spouse turned. Young couples [teens] are free to date w/o turning their human s/o for obvious reasons (too young to make such a drastic decision). Vampire & human relationships are just like human relationships. They can fail for many reasons, but the biggest being that the human doesn't want to be turned (which is valid). It causes too many problems within the relationship though. ==forms:== vampires have two forms: a dark form & a normal form. Dark forms aren’t usually used in modern times because dark forms were used when vampires strictly hunted humans for blood and also used in duels. ==Conceiving:== Vampires are not able to conceive naturally since they are undead beings. Unless, they use magic or before they became vampires, froze their eggs/sperm (this is an incredibly rare instance and if this is the case, the baby would be in a fake womb being monitored by parents or a [vampire] surrogate). Conceiving w. Magic: vampires are able to conceive with magic. For the 9 months of their pregnancy, vampires are essentially human-like. The magic allows this to happen by creating faux organs & blood to nurture the baby. Most vampires use this options to have the ‘pregnancy experience’. Hair & hair growth: When a person is turned to a vampire their hair turns grey/white. This is due to the lack of melanin in the hair follicles & the pigment cells are dead. If someone was turned when they had short hair, their hair will never grow long. Vampires can cut their hair but it won’t grow back to its original length. Most vampires dye their hair or wear wigs/hair extensions. |
